The Shops at Target launched this weekend, and even celebrities are excited for the affordable goods.
On hand for the celebration in Manhattan Tuesday night were Food Network star Giada De Laurentiis and actresses Emma Roberts, January Jones, Leelee Sobieski and Amanda Setton.
The five mini shops now inside Target stores are:
The Webster: This upscale Miami Beach boutique is bringing Art Deco glam to Target with breezy dresses, beachy totes and tropical wedges-- think palm tree prints and summer colors for sun-soaking fashionistas.
Privet House: This Connecticut shop brings vintage and antique-style home decor to the table. Highlights include woven fruit baskets, pitchers and painted dishware with a warm French countryside feel.
Cos Bar: Aspen's beauty hot spot will have fruity soaps, leopard print cosmetic bags, cooling eye masks and funky nail polishes.
Polka Dog Bakery: Created in Boston, this pet lovers' go-to spot sells colorful doggie accessories, natural treats and fun toys.
The Candy Store: This San Francisco based candy store has hard to find sweets and old favorites, displayed alluringly in tall glass jars.
Designer lovers on a budget need not worry; the Shops at Target does not mean the end of Jason Wu style designer collaborations. Roberts, who was wearing a preppy Webster for Target cardigan, said she hopes Missoni will do another collection for the store. "I didn't get everything I wanted the first time!" she said while walking the red carpet.
Merchandise is also available online at target.com.
