Since H&M opened their doors to the U.S. in 2000, the Sweden-based, budget-friendly retailer has slacked on allowing fashionistas to enjoy the ease of online shopping, leaving all of us wondering how such a popular company could be so behind on the times. But it seems all it took was a little bit of old-fashioned cyber bullying to get an answer.
After a few false alarms (e-commerce was promised earlier this year but was then pushed back with no talk of a new launch date), H&M gave us new hope Wednesday via Twitter, after being questioned by Glam.com.
"@theglamnetwork Online shopping will be available @hmusa in August, stay tuned for further details!" the retailer tweeted from its official account, @HM.
A round of applause to Glam.com for asking the question we were all thinking, and to H&M for (hopefully) making this happen in time for us to stock up on fall wardrobe staples (and Isabel Marant's November collection)!
