A CSA since 1996, this not-for-profit farm is known for its weird vegetables. Members who work on the farm 15 hours from the end of May through the end of August get a $100 refund on the share price. Members also may contribute to the Flying Pig Fund to help others afford a CSA share. She says they get about $1,000 per year in donations that subsidize multiple shareholders.
