Jil Sander's new Vasari clutch is, in fact, a brown paper bag.
It's likely that anyone with expensive enough taste to spend $290 on a lunch bag isn't toting around a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Good thing it's made of coated paper with stitched seams and metal eyelets to let that caviar breathe.
There's also an upgraded black leather version for $630. But who would buy this, you ask?
Apparently a lot of people. The bag is sold out online.
Maybe it's all those people who bought her $150 acetate carrier (a dead ringer for a plastic grocery bag) when it came out last year.
