Former "Real Housewives of New York City" star Jill Zarin is a busy lady these days, but she stopped by the Bebe Black Fall 2012 fashion show Tuesday afternoon.
Zarin wore a turqouise asymmetrical Bebe dress with black tights from her own fashionable shapewear line, Skweez Couture.
"I love it," she said of Bebe clothing. "It's not expensive fashion; you don't have to spend a fortune to look great."
Zarin's appearances on the Home Shopping Network (HSN) Friday resulted in three sold-out shows for Skweez Couture, which she launched in Lord & Taylor stores in October and will bring to Macy's stores with an appearance at Macy's Herald Square on Feb. 21 at 6 p.m.
"I'm beyond busy, but It's all about the balance," she said. "I'm at a critical point right now in my professional career. You know, how fast to expand, how big to grow, those are the questions I'm thinking about now. Everything I've done so far has been really successful and I should be so lucky to maintain that momentum."
Zarin also has a new self-titled jewelry line at jillzarinjewelry.com, which will be sold in retail stores this summer. She said Fashion Week is a different experience now that she is a designer.
"I have a different way of looking at things," she said. "I'm looking for trends, fabrics, colors and styles, and, who knows, maybe I'll get into clothing one day. It wouldn't surprise me."
Zarin, who is originally from Long Island, said when she does get downtime she spends much of it there visiting her stepchildren. She named Philippe in Jericho and Hunan Taste in Greenvale as two of her favorite Long Island spots and said she loves to get frozen yogurt at Kitchen Kabaret in Roslyn Heights.
As for her Valentine's Day plans, Zarin said she'll be going on a double date with former "Housewives" co-star Kelly Bensimon.
