Every season, nuBest Salon and Spa switches up the "uniform" for its 125 stylists, colorists and makeup artists to underscore how beauty and fashion coexist. This time around, it's all about the football-style jersey, here, emblazoned with the number 73 to commemorate the year nuBest opened its doors.
The look was inspired in part by Tom Ford's Fall collection which featured two sequin jersey dresses emblazoned with the designers name and birth year. The dresses became an instant hit (that's what generally happens when Beyonce wears something -- which she did). At nuBest the tops are paired with white or black jeans worn with of-the-moment black slip on sneakers.
While Joey Fatone of boy band 'N SYNC doesn't style hair (at least that we know of -- anything's possible), he apparently liked the look enough to score a shirt. They sell for $25 at the salon located at 1482 Northern Blvd. in Manhasset.
