So many Long Island girls have grown up wearing Juicy Couture, and the brand is determined to grow with them.
They're not ditching their track suits and the other fun, casual styles that made Juicy a hit in high schools everywhere when they first began, but they have introduced more sophistication-- think black coated jeans, lace dresses and fur coats-- and even updated velour.
"We've maintained that signature style but manifested it in different places," explains LeAnn Nealz, president and chief creative officer for Juicy Couture. "Our tops, sweaters, jeans and dresses now have that same ease of wearability that our track suit is famous for. The result is a collection that is updated, on trend and more refined than seasons past."
To go along with the brand's new direction, Juicy stores are getting "re-coutured", and among the made-over locations are the stores at the Americana Shops in Manhasset and Roosevelt Field mall in Garden City.
"It involves painting and new fixtures that showcase the merchandise better," says Deb Corsiglia, vice president of Juicy Couture stores.
