Pink-haired designer Chris Benz is known for his showstopping, eccentric creations, and Kelly Osbourne dressed for the occasion at his New York Fashion Week runway show Monday.
Osbourne wore a collared dress with a hot-pink skirt, mustard-yellow bodice and orange sleeves, and topped it off with yellow shades and a whimsical updo. With her was boyfriend Matthew Mosshart, who was sporting his long, wavy mane.
Also at Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall for the spring 2013 presentation was Paula Abdul, who wore a Chris Benz dress with a hot-pink skirt and black bodice, accessorized with a pink clutch and black chandelier earrings.
“I love Chris Benz,” Abdul told Newsday. "[His designs] are beautiful; they're fun and they have a quirkiness about them.”
Abdul said her closet is filled with fashions she has collected over the years.
“I still have vintage Patricia Field and Norma Kamali; I still have two beautiful tunics that Gianni Versace made for me when I was first performing,” she said. “I love keeping old pieces.”
Abdul said she has been busy as of late. “I'm working on many projects now at the same time,” she said. “I'm doing some performing .?.?. that has been interesting and exciting.”
