After an intense battle in the voting department, Jenna Zito, Newsday's Project Prom girl of Northport, finally knows what she's wearing to her Kings Park High School Prom at the Crest Hollow Country Club in two weeks thanks to Newsday readers and Newsday.com users who picked her dress from a selection of four.

Initially, Jenna had a Disney princess fantasy for prom, but as she shopped her vision changed, and our readers liked her best in the "Belle, "a sleek, inky blue sophisticated number fit for a modern day princess from upscale Roslyn consignment shop Revival Boutique.

Though there were close to 7,000 votes in all, in the end it all boiled down to a frantic competition between the "Belle" and the " Cinderella" -- a frothy ivory classic ball gown with a corset back and mountains of tulle from the Outrageous Boutique in Plainview which received 36.2 % of the votes. The Belle eked out the win with 38.2% of the votes.

Of course, the red "Jasmine" from Estelle's Dressy Dresses in Farmingdale and the form-fitting turquoise "Ariel" from Fox's Off Price Designer in Mineola garnered their fair share of the votes as well.

As for the winning dress, it is designed by David Meister, who dresses the likes of Felicity Huffman, Sharon Stone and Jennifer Hudson for their red carpet walks. The dress, tucked into the racks at the luxe consignment shop, cost a fraction of its retail price. It was never worn, and still had its original tags on it, proving, that one gal's mistake can be another girl's treasure.

For her part, Jenna is thrilled, and you'll be seeing more of her. We're going to her prom! Thanks for voting.
