While everyone waits to see who’s doing Kate Middleton’s dress, another royal bride-to-be has made her selection.
Charlene Wittstock, the woman who captured the heart of that notorious bachelor, Prince Albert of Monaco, has chosen Giorgio Armani to design her gown, according to People magazine. They’ll wed this summer.
Talk about pressure. It won’t take much for Kate’s gown to top that wedding-cake confection Diana wore when she wed Prince Charles. But poor Charlene has to live up to one of the most iconic, admired wedding gowns of all time--the one worn by Grace Kelly for her 1956 wedding to Prince Ranier.
Armani, of course, has absolutely nothing to say about his design. But we’re betting on simple, elegant glam.
