This is how we imagine Rumer Willis, the 22-year-old daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, at a job interview:
Rumer: “Hi, my name is Rumer. My mom is Demi Moore. My dad is Bruce Willis.
Interviewer: “You’re hired.”
And now she is hired as the Badgley Mischka model in the company’s new spring marketing campaign appearing in a selection of clothing from Badgley Mischka’s diverse lifestyle collections including couture, eveningwear, the Mark + James collection, footwear, handbags, jewelry and swimwear.
The ads, shot on a beach in Malibu, California, will debut in March issues of magazines such as Vogue, InStyle, and Harper’s Bazaar.
Willis is not an obvious choice for such a role. She is not a classic Hollywood type, despite her royal lineage, yet we find her unusual looks intriguing, for just that reason.
In a statement, Mark Badgley and James Mischka, the design team behind the swanky label – a red carpet favorite worn by the likes of Halle Berry, Katy Perry and Sarah Jessica Parker, among others -- said, “Rumer is a great muse for the season. She has a vivacious spirit to her; she is young and modern, which is representative of our spring collection.”
For her part, Willis is, natch, “honored to appear in the new campaign,” adding that during the shoot, “I felt like princess.”
As the daughter of Hollywood royalty…well she kind of is. We rather like her in these ads. What do you think?
