Designer Rebecca Taylor was so nervous about the snow the morning of her New York Fashion Week show that she couldn't even bear to look out the window.

"My husband looked out the window and said, 'It's not that bad!'" she said. "It didn't really amount to as much as we thought it might and that's amazing."

"The Descendants" actress Shailene Woodley made it in just fine, rocking a leather jacket, printed blouse, cigarette pants and heels by the designer.

"I really, really respect [Taylor] because I feel like her clothes are very strong and they're also very feminine," Woodley told Newsday. "That's something you don't find a lot."

"It's a strong season for tailoring," Taylor said. "It's the kind of boy-meets-girl thing."

Speaking of boy meets girl, Woodley had one style tip for girls looking forward to a big date night this Valentine's Day.

"You better be comfortable," she said. "If you're not a heels girl, don't wear heels because you won't be feeling confident and comfortable and sexy."

Woodley said comfort is her No. 1 priority when choosing an outfit.

"I want to be able to kick my leg all the way up in the air and I want to be able to bend and touch my forehead to my knees," she said. "So any clothes that I can do that in I'm good."
