If you love rock and roll and comfy clothes, it's worth paying a visit to The Hoodie Shop at 181 Orchard St. on Manhattan's Lower East Side for the funky decor, surround sound and projection screen that shows classic concert footage while you shop.
But for those who don't have time to hop on the F train, the fairly new boutique (open since March) now has an online store.
The new online site at thehoodieshop.com showcases the brands of (mostly hooded) clothing The Hoodie Shop carries for men and women, from Kings of Cole and Nicholas K to B Scott and Alternative Apparel.
Think luxe hooded sweatshirts, hooded ombre leather jackets, hooded bombers, hooded sweaters and other pieces that prove hoods aren't just for your high school track team anymore (although they have vintage versions of those, too).
Other highlights include a collection of men's sweatshirts that Brooklyn-based designer Alexander Campaz created exclusively for the shop and a selection of bold, vintage-inspired sunglasses by Oliver Goldsmith.
