It isn't easy for vets who are trying to jump back into the job market in such a stinky economy. So JCPenney, JOE Joseph Abboud and the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA) have joined forces, offering $1 million to help returning servicemen and women find business attire.
Business attire that isn't camo-print cargo pants and military boots, that is.
The first 5,000 IAVA members who apply for the "Welcome Home Joe" campaign get a $200 coupon for JOE Joseph Abboud menswear or Worthington womenswear at JCPenney.
To be eligible, just 1) register as an IAVA member (if you're not one already) and then 2) apply for the coupon, all on iava.org. The application period starts TODAY, October 1, and runs through October 8, at 11:59 pm.
