It took years, but Rose and Sal Trionfo finally got a new bathroom in their East Meadow home. "When we bought the house in 1991, we weren't crazy about the bathroom," says Rose Trionfo, 52, a secretary in the East Meadow School District. Sal, also 52, is a lineman for Verizon. "It was dark, with wood paneling. We were always going to do it and then something would come up that was more pressing." Finally, a few months ago, a major leak made the decision for them. Though the road to renovation was long, it took only a few clicks of a mouse to determine the style of the new bathroom. Rose Trionfo clicked on houzz.com, where designers post finished projects, and saw a bathroom by designer Nanette Baker of Interiors by Nanette of Albertson. The bright, white and crisp bathroom was just "exactly what I wanted," Trionfo says. Total: $24,032 (includes Baker's $1,500 design fee) -- Sylvia E. King-Cohen
