After nearly 20 years of staring at the country style dining room in their New Hyde Park home, owners Susan and Mark Bunyon decided they'd had enough of country living. They turned to niece Dawn Bunyon, 24, who recently earned her interior design degree from the New York Institute of Technology in Westbury. Dawn, a freelance designer who owns DBInteriors, also works for Inside Out Design in Williston Park. The budget was strict. TOTAL: $2,330 (Dawn Bunyon says her usual fee for this makeover would have been $1,500.) -- Sylvia E. King-Cohen
