Love gardens and animals? You can indulge both this Saturday, June 16, by attending the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons' 26th annual garden tour, aptly called, "A peek behind the hedges."
The self-guided tour through some great gardens in the village of Southampton runs from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., rain or shine, and ends with an optional cocktail reception from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. at the home of Leni & Adam Sender (details provided when purchasing tickets).
Residents opening up their gardens for the tour are Ruth and Ted Baum, Maria and Bruce Bockmann, Christy and Clifford Brechner, Michael Raynes, and Perri and Eric Ruttenberg. The Southampton Rose Society Garden at the Rogers Memorial Library will be open, as well.
Tour tickets are $75; $175 for the tour and cocktail reception.
Tickets can be purchased in advance or on tour day at the ARF Adoption Center, the ARF Thrift Shop, East Hampton Gardens, Lynch’s Garden Center, Mecox Gardens, Sag Harbor Florist, The Bayberry & Marders or by calling 631-537-0400 x216.
