Cinematic is the best word to describe the decorator show house at Hempstead House, 127 Middle Neck Rd., Sands Point Preserve. (In fact, one bedroom was used as a set for HBO's "Boardwalk Empire.") It's open Wednesdays through Mondays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., through Nov. 24, beginning Saturday.
