Holly Society convention coming to LI

Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Park in Oyster Bay will be hosting the 2011 Holly Society of America convention from Oct. 20-23, 2011.  The convention will include 2 tours:  a full-day Thursday Early Arrivals’ Tour at the Planting Fields Arboretum, which will include a tour of Coe Hall Estate; and on Friday, a visits to Bayard Cutting Arboretum and to Fire Island Sailor’s Haven and Sunken Forest (via the Sayville ferry). Dinner will be held at Captain Bill’s Restaurant in Bay Shore.
