Necessity is the mother of invention, as the saying goes, and I know your necessities must have inspired some handy inventions around the garden.  I've already told you that I start some seeds in egg cartons and others in newspaper seed pots, but I don't believe I've mentioned using an old tennis racket to sift my compost.
