How to make a shoe organizer hanging garden

A hanging shoe-organizer garden is a great way for anyone to grow edibles -- or even flowers -- without using a square inch of land. -- Jessica Damiano

Here's what you'll need:
Metal curtain rod or pipe, and screws
Sturdy hooks or wire
Compost or moisture-retaining potting mix
Plants or seeds (herbs, lettuces, peas, dwarf tomatoes, etc.)
