Landscape Pleasures, an annual two-day horticultural event and fundraiser at the Parrish Art Museum in Southampton village, begins next Saturday, June 12, with a symposium from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., featuring presentations by gardening book author and landscape designer Barbara Damrosch, artist April Gornik, and writer and editor Dominique Browning.
Sunday's events will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will include self-guided tours of some of the East End's finest private gardens, including those of Lillian and Joel Cohen, Audrey and Martin Gruss, Martha McLanahan, Liz and Damon Mezzacappa, and Hilary and Wilbur Ross.
Tickets for Landscape Pleasures are $125 for Parrish members and $175 for nonmembers, and they include admission to the symposium as well as the private gardens.
Sponsors, patrons, and benefactors begin at the $300 level and up are invited to a private cocktail party Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at a Southampton estate.
