If you're eager to get out into the fresh air, Old Westbury Gardens is providing the perfect backdrop this month. You can:

Take the kids to the Gardens' "Spring Sprouts Stoll" April 14 at noon for an invigorating walk through the grounds. Help them discover wildflowers, early spring blooms and still-bare branches.

Then, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 21-22, bring your leashed dog to OWG for an invigorating Dog Stroll and playtime with other pups in designated areas. The canine fun explodes on April 21 during the Spring Dog Festival, with dog games, demonstrations by Long Island Agility, and exhibits by animal welfare and rescue groups from 11 a.m to 3 p.m..
