A lot happens in the span of 365 days. Small moments, the offbeat and the in-between -- times that reveal our essence as Long Islanders. 2012 was full of moments big and small, joyous and reflective, that captured our pride and silliness, our endurance, solitude and commitment to each other, and our remembrances and quiet acts of generosity.
