All-you-can-eat sushi: Gone in E. Northport; alive in Great Neck

The former Sushi Park, East Northport

The former Sushi Park, East Northport

Sushi Park, the vast, all-you-can-eat raw fish palace in East Northport, has closed.

The last time I ate there, about a year ago, the price of the buffet had been lowered from $24.95 to $14.95 – with an interesting restriction: Leave over (waste) anything on your plate, and the meal would cost an extra $10.

No such regulations at the all-you-can-eat Sushi Palace in Great Neck. The place seems perpetually crowded, charging $18.95 on week nights, $20.95 on weekends.  The addition of a  liquor license (two months ago) means you can now order sake with your spider roll.

Sushi Palace is at 148 Middle Neck Rd., Great Neck, 516-487-8460.
