The Huntington chapter of Slow Foods has a full roster of events for the coming weeks.
On Friday, the National Organization of Italian American Women is co-sponsoring a program at Kaos Farm in Old Westbury. A full seasonal dinner will be served (under a tent). The chapter’s co-leader, Ann Rathkopf, will discuss her experiences living in Italy when the Slow Food Movement was initiated in the 1980s; co-leader Bhavani Jaroff will conduct a cooking demo. Click here for more information or to purchase tickets ($55 for nonmembers, $50 for Slow Food members or members of NOIAW).
The event begins at 6 p.m. Kaos Farm is at 10 Old Westbury Rd., Old Westbury.
