If you over hear someone say "B.O.C." to the person across the table, that could be me commenting on the bread.
The term (my own) translates as "bread of cluelessness," and it usually refers to supermarket-quality Italian bread that's been reheated in such a way that it's browned at the edges, dry as cotton inside. I often wonder: Does the chef think that bread reheated any old way is the same as warm-from-the-oven just-baked bread? Give me fresh, crusty high-quality bread or rolls at room temperature any time.
