Bareburger has opened in the Plainview Shopping Center on South Oyster Bay Road. This is the fourth Long Island location for the New York-based burger chain that touts the healthfulness and sustainability of its ingredients. (The other three are in Great Neck, Rockville Centre and Port Washington.)
At Bareburger, the patties can be ordered not only with beef, but also bison, elk, wild boar, duck, turkey, black bean and “farmers quinoa.” Craft your own with myriad choices of buns, cheeses, and toppings, or select one of 14 menu selections, ranging in price from $9.65 (The Guadalupe: black bean patty, pickled red onions, tomato, alfalfa, guacamole on a sprout bun) to $13.65 (The Buckaroo: beef, aged cheddar, brisket, wild mushroom, smoke sauce on a brioche bun).
There are also plenty of salads, sandwiches, shakes, sides and beer.
Bareburger is at 399 S. Oyster Bay Rd., Plainview, 516-932-3500, bareburger.com.
