When National Guacamole Day and Mexican Independence Day come together, you can be sure Long Island's two Besito restaurants will be ready.

This happens on Tuesday, Sept.16. To contribute to the festivities, Besito in Huntington and in Roslyn has added two specials to the menu, along with a complimentary Roca Patron tequila tasting from 5 to 8 p.m.

Lobster guacamole is one dish, enriching the popular tableside specialty with our local marine mascot. It's $18. Also to be offered at both Besitos is enchiladas mi banderas, or three rolled, soft-corn tortillas filled with chicken in salsa verde, crab in tomatillo cream salsa and beef in salsa roja, a red chile-tomatillo sauce. The enchiladas are $27.

Besito, 402 New York Ave., Huntington, 631-549-0100; and 1516 Old Northern Blvd., Roslyn, 516-484-3001.
