Blackwells, the two-star restaurant at the Great Rock Golf Club in Wading River, hosts a dinner on Jan. 25 highlighting wintertime ales.
Cost: $55 plus tip per person. Dinner goes from 6 to 9 p.m. Reservations are required.
Diners will be served five-mushroom soup, accompanied by Saranac Big Moose Ale; blackened, pulled chicken atop a salad of frisee, walnuts and aged Cheddar, with Kelso of Brooklyn IPA; a Cuban sandwich and spiced fries, with Captain Lawrence Imperial Pale Ale; and honey-caramel mousse for dessert, paired with Keegan "Super Kitty" Ale, a triple IPA.
