There's a new owner, name and phone number at what used to be known as Bluepoint Bar & Grill. The place is now called Blue Point Bistro & Grill and is owned by Chris Rooney.
According to Rooney, chef Danny Avalos remains in charge of the kitchen, and his menu (with entrees currently priced $20 or less) is essentially what it used to be. Which means you’ll still find Avalos’ pot roast ($17), pignoli-crusted red snapper ($18), marinated skirt steak ($19) and penne alla vodka ($14). Rigatoni Bolognese, though, has morphed into potato gnocchi Bolognese ($18).
