Tickets are on sale for the celebrity chefs' dinner in Bridgehampton on July 28. The event is a fundraiser for the Hayground School.
Eric Ripert of Le Bernardin, Amanda Freitag from The Food Network's "Chopped" and Ina Garten of Barefoot Contessa fame are among the participants.
Local chefs taking part include James Carpenter of The Living Room in East Hampton, Doug Gulija of The Plaza Cafe in Southampton, Joe Isidori of Southfork Kitchen in Bridgehampton, Christian Mir of Stone Creek Inn in East Quogue, and Claudia Fleming of The North Fork Table & Inn in Southold.
Ticket prices are $150 for the cocktail hour; and $750 for the cocktail party and four-course dinner. "VIP wine tables" with wines and premium seating in Jeff's Kitchen, the full-service professional kitchen and classroom at Hayground, start at $1,500 per ticket.
The annual event honors the late Jeff Salaway, who was co-owner of Nick & Toni's in East Hampton. More than $1 million has been raised for his namesake scholarship fund and the kitchen.
