Huntington may be bursting with new restaurants, but it recently lost an older one. Sadly, Danu, which opened in 2007, is no more.
It was a striking place, done in all white. When it first opened, it served an unusual combination of Latin fusion and Asian food. Dishes such as pan-seared shizo halibut with melon-and-tequila sauce and rainbow rolls. Later, it switched to an all-Latin repertoire. It also had a late night club scene.
