Long Fin, an ambitious restaurant in East Meadow specializing in seafood,  has closed.

The restaurant earned a one- and- one-half star rating last year for dishes such as crisp "Buffalo" shrimp in Thai chile sauce, sesame-crusted tuna with nachos, steamed shrimp dumplings, steamed lobster and tempura-style flounder, and a fried-oyster po' boy sandwich, along with short ribs and a shrimp-and-bacon burger.

The eatery opened on the former site of BeSi, at 2367 Hempstead Tpke., East Meadow. Before that, the space housed Ruby's Famous BBQ Joint and Louis & Marxx Steak House.
