Wildthyme, a restaurant devoted to the farm-to-table movement, has closed.

The Southampton eatery  took the new approach earlier this year, and earned a two-star rating in Newsday. Wildthyme, situated on Noyack Road, opened in 2006.

Winning dishes included horseradish-and-potato bisque with micro-arugula and ramp oil; a foraged-onion tart with Catapano Farm goat cheese; poached Iacono Farm egg with asparagus and pancetta; spring-vegetable risotto; tempura-style shrimp with cabbage-and-mint salad; and almond-crusted cod.
