The Living Room is starting a monthly series of wine-and-food pairings highlighting one producer. It begins on April 3 with the wines of Bedell Cellars of Cutchogue.

A trio of Bedell's wines, all blends,  will be available from Sunday, April 3 to Saturday, April 9. Cost of the wine dinner: $55 with wines. The special menu is available from 5:30 p.m. to  6:30 p.m. each night.

Executive chef James Carpenter's three-course menu is matched by Bedell wines chosen by sommelier Kelly Matis.

The lineup: salmon tartare with the 2009 First Crush White, a chardonnay-Sauvignon blanc blend; grilled hanger steak with smoked ramp butter, with the 2008 Taste Red, a blend of Syrah, merlot, Cabernet Franc and petit Verdot; Mecox Bay Dairy Cheddar cheese and spiced nut bread with the 2009 First Crush Red, a merlot-Cabernet Franc union.

Reservations recommended.

The Living Room, which earned a three-star rating in Newsday, is at c/o The Maidstone, 207 Main St., East Hampton; 631-324-5006.
