Here come the crayfish.
East Hampton's c/o The Maidstone hotel hosts a summer tribute to the crustaceans on Aug. 17. The event will feature a visit from Bjorn Ericsson, the Sweden-based consulting chef, whose menu is expected to include the shellfish boiled with dill and Vasterbotten cheese tarts on rye bread. The event will be held outdoors.
The hotel's owners are sponsoring the crayfish affair with BOMB magazine. This summer's dinner includes a limited-edition of the official crayfish-dinner poster. The poster is $40. The crayfish dinner package is $150, including the poster signed by artist Michael Williams; $90 without it.
