Feed Me video: Tel Aviv of Great Neck

This week Feed Me Video takes on Israeli-fusion cuisine. Great Neck's Tel Aviv takes Middle Eastern cooking to heights rarely scaled in the United States. This isn't surprising when you consider that Israeli-American owner Michael Ginor also owns Great Neck's 3-star Lola and he is co-owner of Hudson Valley Foie Gras, foie-gras supplier to the culinary stars.

Tel Aviv is glatt-kosher, but you don't even have to be Jewish to enjoy this informal cafe. Meredith Daniels took a look behind the scenes and learned the proper way to dip your bread in multi-layered hummus.

Videojournalist: Mahala Gaylord and Meredith Daniels

An eclectic Mediterranean menu and even some Thai influences make Tel Aviv in Great Neck a true destination. It is located at 613 Middle Neck Rd., Great Neck, 516-466-6136.
