The dish on Long Island's restaurant and food scene.

Our critics have compiled their Top 10  lists, and the winners are…residents of Suffolk’s Three Village area.

Leading Peter M. Gianotti’s fine-dining list is Mirabelle in Stony Brook and, a bit further down, Kitchen A Bistro, which occupies Mirabelle’s former St. James digs. Joan Reminick’s top new cheap eats for the year is Kitchen A Trattoria (sibling of Bistro) in St. James; also making the cut, The Catch in Port Jefferson.
