How bad is the food at Starbucks? So bad that I brought in takeout from a nearby coffee shop.
It was my day off and I was looking forward to a leisurely breakfast out. But one look at Starbucks spongy, dented bagels, weird-looking muffins, ossified donuts and slabs of dried-out pumpkin bread and I headed next door to buy a toasted, buttered bialy. Is there a reason Starbucks can’t achieve the culinary heights of your average diner?
