The pioneer of the sustainably sourced burrito has now made takeout more efficient. I recently took advantage of the chain’s online ordering service, which allows you to place and pay for an order at your local Chipotle from your computer. Chipotle.com tells you when your meal will be ready, at which point you stride right up to the register—no waiting in line—to pick it up.
In fact my order was ready a few minutes late, but that gave me time to get a little lost on the way to Chipotle. Everything else worked like a charm.
When you register for the program, you have the option of keeping both your credit-card information and your particular order on file so that next time, ordering will involve only two or three clicks.
