After three names and as many management and chef changes, the sprawling pizzeria in Hicksville’s Aero Plaza, most recently known as DeBello’s Restaurant & Bar, has closed.

In December 2013, when Pizza Fabbrica opened its doors, the main attraction was three wood-burning ovens, imported from Italy, whose intricately tiled facades bore the last names of the principal owners, LaForte, Presta and Fusco. The restaurant’s name, Italian for “pizza factory,” proved a challenge and was shortened a few months later to Pizza Fab!

In May 2015, Pizza Fab became DeBello’s. One owner, Paul Presta, remained on board, but two ovens were retiled to erase the names of LaForte and Fusco.

No word yet on the future of this space.

Correction: An earlier version of this story said that the restaurant group Patrizia’s Pizza and Pasta was taking over the restaurant. There has been no sale.
