At 3 p.m. today, Dockers Waterside Restaurant & Marina in East Quogue opens for dinner — and for the season. At the bar, happy hour runs 3:30 to 6:30 p.m., with drinks and appetizers $5.
The restaurant, known for its lively bar scene, docking slips and outdoor summer dining, will be open Friday to Sunday only for the next few weeks. Executive chef Scott Hastings offers a nightly three-course, $27.95 prix fixe, with such choices as a starter of lobster bisque or duck confit tacos, as well as entree options like swordfish Milanese and stuffed local flounder. For dessert, there’s a fallen chocolate soufflé. A few menu items have surcharges.
Come Easter Sunday, March 31, a brunch buffet will be held, with seatings at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Expect carving stations, a raw bar, hot and cold buffets and a dessert table, at $34 a person for adults, $17 for children.
