Golfing can work up an appetite; hence the “nine & dine” prix-fixe at Stonewalls Restaurant at The Woods at Cherry Creek Golf Course in Riverhead. The special runs every Sunday, Monday and Wednesday and includes a three-course prix-fixe plus nine holes and a golf cart.
Chef Guy Peuch offers several choices. A typical dinner might start with Prince Edwards Island mussels followed by a pork chop sauteed charcutière style (with white wine, Dijon mustard and cornichons). One dessert option is vanilla almond cheesecake.
The cost is $55 on Sunday and $50 Monday and Wednesday, tax and gratuity included. Tee times start at 3 p.m.
