Instead of watching a food demo on TV (so unsatisfying, since you can’t taste what’s on screen), think about grabbing a seat at the bar of Burton & Doyle Steakhouse on a Thursday night and watching the bartender turn into a chef, of sorts. The restaurant will be presenting complimentary food demos (not quite cooking but rather putting the dish together). With the purchase of an alcoholic beverage, you may get a tasting every 15 minutes.
Dishes will change weekly but might include lamb ravioli with green peppercorn sauce, frog leg tempura with sauce tartare and onion tart with black olive tapenade.
