Manna By Marco Barrila is the new restaurant in the cozy Water Mill space occupied for decades by Mirko’s.

It’s the offspring of Insatiable EATS, an upscale catering company in Water Mill, owned by Marco Barrila and Sheila Minkel Barrila. The caterer, established in 2009, earlier was based in Southampton.

Mirko’s, the continental restaurant remembered for its gracious service and excellent food, closed in autumn 2013 after a 30-year run at the Water Mill Square location.

Before moving to the East End 10 years ago, Marco Barrila operated an Italian-style bistro, Noi, in Manhattan.

In Water Mill, expect to find dishes such as lobster risotto, spinach-black truffle arancini, trout with spinach purée, pappardelle with short rib and truffle-infused veal chops.

The menu will change seasonally and take on a farm-to-table approach. The cuisines will vary. Appetizers range from $18 to $24; main courses, $36 to $54.

Manna is open every day for dinner, starting at 6:30 p.m. Lunch is expected to be scheduled next week, Sheila Minkel Barrila said.
