Celebrity lawyer Mark Geragos, who recently bought the Capri hotel in Southampton, has yet to reach a verdict on what food will be served there.

Geragos, whose clients have included Chris Brown, Sean "Diddy" Combs, Mike Tyson, and Winona Ryder, is expected to open a new restaurant at the Capri in time for the summer season.

"They're all over the place," said a source familiar with the changes under way. "It could be a New York City operator" establishing the latest Hamptonian. "But it's going to be a restaurant as opposed to a club."

In recent years, the Capri has hosted short-term branches of Nobu and BLT Steak, two brand-name, haute-chainlet eateries that are remembered more for periodic celebrity-spotting and astronomical prices every day than for their cuisines.

Geragos bought the hotel for $4.7 million in February. The Capri is situated on Montauk Highway, Route 27, in Southampton.
