If you're out on the North Fork and fishing for a place to go for a Christmas Eve feast of seven (or so) fishes, you'll want to know about the one at A Mano Osteria & Wine Bar, where chef-owner Tom Schaudel is going the a la carte route.
To start, you can opt for baccala fritters with roasted garlic-lemon aioli, scungilli salad or fried calamari with tomato sauce and lemon. Piscine entrees include jumbo diver scallops with lemon-artichoke risotto, black linguine with shrimp, calamari, mussels and clams, as well as a blue crab risotto with zucchini, tomato, basil and saffron.
A Mano Osteria & Wine Bar is at 13550 Main Rd., Mattituck, 631-298-4800.
