On a quest for out-of-the-ordinary bar food, I headed over to Madison’s Grille & Martini Bar in East Northport, where I’d once had an excellent crab cake.
This time, the crab cake (remembered as basically crab, spice and mayo) turned out to be a bit dry and bready. A letdown, despite the terrific tartar sauce on the side.
On the other hand, I was wowed by grilled pork chops smothered in a mix of onions and hot cherry peppers. Juicy, smoky, spicy, ultra delicious and worth going back for.
