Rebecca Clavecilla-Eng started making cake pops out of her Manhasset home a few years ago as a hobby. Her goal: From-scratch pops that were both delicious and beautiful.
Before she knew it, she had 36,000 Instagram followers and custom orders were flowing in.
Her husband, Jonathan Eng, has helped her take her growing business to the next level. On Saturday, they opened Rebecca’s Cake Pops in Garden City. The new shop, in the space formerly occupied by Honestly Delicious, will stock her most popular creations on rotation as well as seasonal specialties.
Right now, Rebecca is elbow-deep in Halloween cake pops. With two weeks’ notice, she can also design custom pops for any occasion.
Expect a re-vamped website soon for ordering pops online to pick up at the store or ship anywhere in the U.S.
